As we are so often reminded, Rule 21(d), which MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has identified as “the most fundamental rule in baseball,” is “posted in every clubhouse in every baseball stadium.” (The term “clubhouse” refers to baseball teams’ locker rooms, as distinguished from other spaces at baseball stadiums, such as the playing field.)
